i played through the entire game, although i see a comment talking about the difficulty, i think it works fine for a metrovania game, although i do think rewarding hearts for doing little side things would be really cool. for the rest this game feels amazing to play, the first boss is probably impossible damageless because its split attack is also the first of its kind in the game and not dodgeable  (the basic shooter enemy comes after), the editor is amazing for pros but i feel like a beginner editor that works closer to mario maker would be of great help for people just looking to make a simple map, i do love the art design. a very solid game, have had a lot of fun just messing with the basic stage in the editor

Thanks a lot for playing through the demo and for the feedback!

I realize it's not communicated anywhere, but you can block the projectiles to reflect them :D

It's cool that you've spent some time with the editor. Making it easier and more intuitive to use is definitely a big priority. I want it to be powerful enough, but also easy to pick up for people who just want to create something simple and fun.

The lack of renewable healing is an interesting concept, but really doesn't work in the long term because the less skilled players who need the healing will run out faster. It also encourages just dying to respawn if you take too much damage. And even if you manage to get around it somehow with incredible level design, the level editor version won't be like that.

The first boss feels like its attacks aren't telegraphed or reasonable to avoid, but its health is low enough to just tank it.

Thanks for trying the game out, I really appreciate the detailed feedback! I will definitely keep that in mind as I continue working on it.
